CONTEMPLATING THE STEPS by PHIL GREEN; Grade: Acceptance
A backlit image, but I don't really feel that this would qualify as a true silhouette. There is more impact from the background than in the presentation of the darkly lit figure. And again, in some respects, too much has been included in the frame. A silhouette to me needs to be a simple black shape against a plain background. The emphasis being on the silhouette, and not what is behind. But then, there can be exceptions to this thinking too.
