WHAT_WILL_THEY_BOTTLE_NEXT by PETER BARBER; Grade: Non-Acceptance
The cat is dominant in this image, but it is slightly soft.
I think that since the set subject is Bottles, that the bottle should be the dominant part of the image and I feel it is not here. In addition, I feel that we effectively have two images here, the cat and the bottle with mouse. They do not seem to be tied together to me.
If I was doing this image, I think I would have positioned the camera behind the bottle and look back towards the cat. I think this would have tied the bottle and the cat together, especially if you could get it to look directly at the mouse.
This image looks as though the camera has not been level. It looks as if the camera is pointing upward not square on to the wall. Consequently, the gaps between the tiles appear on an angle.
