BEHIND BARS by CATHERINE ANSELL; Grade: Acceptance
Make sure, when you photograph backlit situations like this that you compensate accordingly. Reflections in the bottles trick the meter. Look at the histogram on the back of the camera, when shooting. This, in my opinion needs a stop more exposure to make it brighter.
Composition is good. I think that the camera needs to be placed higher as the bottles appear to be falling backwards. By raising the camera and ensuring it is parallel to the subject would improve this.
You could correct this somewhat in Photoshop, and you shouldn’t lose much of the image.
Again, it is worth looking at this image again on the computer as it is a nice image.
