EVENING GLOW By CATHERINE ANSELL GRADE; ACCEPTED
A great succesion of tones from the foreground to the sky. I found the centre trees cut off by the ridgeline were not as satisfying as the trees on the left that appeared to be growing on the ridgeline. In situations like this it is well worth moving around, if possible, trying to simplify your compositions. There is a dust spot on the top edge of the photo and another in the mountains to the right. Grabbing the photograph and jiggling it around can help you spot dust.
