"SOLITUDE" by MISAO ANDERSON; Grade: Acceptance.
I can understand the title chosen here, as the beach is certainly isolated and the items left there are certainly alone. Good exposure used but I am not convinced on your choice of composition. While I appreciate that the tire tracks were on the sand, they not only conflict with the flotsam, they take us nicely out of the frame to the left - the real subject being on the right. With landscapes, try to avoid placing the horizon right on the centre line of the frame. This tends to make the image unbalanced, despite the horizon being in the middle. (One can get away with this for a reflection). In the next image I have cropped off the top to put the horizon on a third and a little trim from the left which places the old couch on the right third of the frame. To me this gives a much better balance to the image.
